Recent News - AUGUST 2025

ANOTHER ROUND OF DISTINCTIONS!

We are delighted to announce that eight more of our students have achieved distinctions all round in their most recent LAMDA examinations! Their achievements are a testament to their commitment, creativity, and the supportive, tailored teaching approach we champion at Creative Industries Academies.

This round of exams saw students at a variety of stages in their journey—some sitting examinations for the very first time, others stepping confidently into their second and third set of examinations. We also had learners exploring new syllabus areas, making exciting moves from performance to communication (acting to verse and prose) and vice versa. This willingness to challenge themselves and branch into new disciplines is something we are especially proud of.

Our students entered across a range of levels, including Entry Level, Grade One, and Grade Two examinations. Each syllabus focuses on different skill sets: performance demands stage presence, characterisation, and creativity, while communication develops clarity, expression, and interpretive reading. By encouraging students to cross between syllabuses, we ensure they build a broad foundation of complementary skills. This approach not only strengthens their performance in exams but also helps them grow into confident, adaptable, and well-rounded individuals.

At Creative Industries, every child’s curriculum is tailored to their needs and goals. Whether a student thrives on performance, excels in communication, or enjoys a balance of both, we help them develop the tools to express themselves effectively and authentically. Beyond exam success, this equips them with valuable life skills—confidence, critical thinking, and resilience—that will benefit them in every aspect of their future.

We are immensely proud of all our students for their dedication, bravery, and achievements in this examination series. Their results reflect not just their talent, but the ongoing journey of growth and development that lies at the heart of what we do.

Recent News - JULY 2025

Camp Creative: A Summer of Creativity and Growth!

This July, Camp Creative returned bigger and better than ever—running for a full four weeks of creativity, collaboration, and fun! With our extended full-day format (8:30am – 5:00pm), students had even more time to immerse themselves in exciting activities and develop valuable life skills.

Over the month, campers explored everything from drama warm-ups, storytelling, and stagecraft to leadership challenges and team projects. They scripted, directed, and performed original plays, took part in production meetings, and worked together on a wide variety of creative tasks. Every week brought new opportunities to grow in confidence, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Alongside the fun, our focus remained on skill-building that lasts far beyond the stage. Students developed creativity, resilience, and collaboration skills that will serve them in school, friendships, and future challenges.

Creating and performing original productions
Leading and participating in group projects
Team challenges that built communication and leadership skills
Feedback sessions that encouraged reflection and growth

The feedback was fantastic—students told us how much they loved the extended format, how proud they were of their achievements, and how much fun they had along the way.

We couldn’t be prouder of the creativity and energy our young people brought to Camp Creative. Four weeks flew by in a whirlwind of imagination, teamwork, and growth—and we can’t wait to do it all again this OCTOBER - keep a look out for details!
